Helper Cooking Class April 2024 We will open a NEW Domestic Helper's Cooking class, starting on 3 April 2024! Your helper will get the confidence to cook Japanese & Western cuisine & Bread Makingfor your family and friends. We usually run a 1 month course that covers Asian and Western cooking at once a week. This course includes many cooking methods such as mastering Japanese basic ingredients, and healthier ways of cooking vegetables and meat. Girls’ Day "Hinamatsuri" & Chirashi & Temari sushi Girls' Day or "Hinamatsuri"( Doll Festival) is held on March 3 to pray for the health of girls in Japan over 1000yrs. Families with girls often display special Japanese "kimono" dolls that represent their wedding, since the marriage is believed as the happiest and biggest celebration in girl's life. Offerings made to the dolls include shirozake, chirashi-sushi, and shellfish-clear soup that have special wishes for the girls to have happy and healthy life.
